When someone comes to you as a vendor/potential applicant you can add their details onto the system as a sales enquiry. From the Sales Enquiries button you can also manage your existing enquiries. To add or modify an enquiry, you’ll need to go to the sales tab and click onto the option for Sales enquiries
Once you are on this screen you can add a brand new enquiry by clicking onto the ‘add’ button on the top right hand corner.
Once you have clicked the add button on the top right hand corner, you will see this screen:
Fill out this form with all of the details of the individual. If the vendor is contacting you to sell their property, you can enter the property for sale address in the address field. You will notice a ‘Type’ option on the far right hand side, here you can enter what type of enquiry you have, for example a viewing request, or a valuation. If you would like any additional options added to that dropdown, get in touch with the support team and they can assist.
Once you have completed this information click save and close to add the details to the system.
This will open the enquiry as its own profile. You will see an action button on the top right hand corner, from this you can:
Convert this to sales appraisal- The system will use the address entered to set up a new appraisal
If you select this option you will have the opportunity to choose the service type you will be providing for this Vendor.
If the Vendor has previously been added to the system you can link them at this stage.
Click Convert to sales appraisal once complete.
The system will show the property as a sales appraisal:
On this screen you can click onto the actions button and set the appraisal to won/lost you can also enter details of a chain if applicable. On the left hand ladder you will have details of a progression checklist; this is something you’ll need to discuss with our support team about adding. We will assist you in adding checklist items during specific times of the sales process.
If you have won the appraisal and the vendor instructs you to sell the property, please see the ‘Appraisal won’ guide
Link to an existing sales instruction- This option is used to set the enquirer up as the vendor on a property.
If you choose to link this enquiry to an existing instruction, please see the ‘Linking to a sales instruction’ guide.
