Auto linking & posting in agentOS with Calmony
With a Calmony account in agentOS, we are able to see the bank account details of the person paying.
This means we can automatically link that payment or automatically link AND post the bank entry.
This is set on the bank edit action in agentOS for a Calmony only account.

The default is to automatically link only, but can be changed to auto post as long as there is a person record in the system with matching bank details.
This gives agents more success with saving time, minimising errors and meaning their landlords are put AUTOMATICALLY into credit.
To set this up
- apply for a Calmony account
B
Bacs (benefit of using)
Agents looking to get BACS, so they can bulk upload payments to landlords need to apply to the bank (this can lead to a client account review and the bank closing a client account)
BACS is an extra monthly fee by a bank, e.g. Lloyds charge £20 pcm, and £5.50 per bulk upload and 15p each payment (BACS are next day payments.)

With opening a Calmony account (which can do for free) agents get BACS where regular client accounts you do not get BACS (separate service).
Calmony is integrated within agentOS and includes same day bulk/BACS payment, saving a agent a lot in BACS fees and improving payments to landlords with same day bulk payments.
Bacs (risk when apply for)
When agents apply for BACS service with their bank carries a rick the client account will be reviewed andd the bank may either;
- Close account
- Insist move to account per landlord (with monthly fees)
- Move to commercial charges for the client account (e.g £15.00 /m and 37p per transaction.
By opening a Calmony account (which can do for free) agents get BACS where regular client accounts you do not and reduce the risk of a client account review and closure by agents bank.
C
Churn
We can provide a google data studio dashboard on the Churn (losses) verses Growth (gains) to give the agent a true picture of their business growth.
A tenancy that has ended and there is no future tenancy = Churn
A signed tenancy that has never had a previous tenancy (or a tenancy in last 18 months) = Growth
Growth – Churn = True Growth
Client Account Switch Service
Agents have an issue when they move from one client account to another client account with getting all their tenants to cancel the old standing order and setup a new standing order.
With Calmony we can upload a ‘bulk standing orders’ payment app requests where the system will automatically create the invite, email and text on mass.
The agent can then see which tenants have and haven’t set up their standing orders.
Please note, this is only available for Calmony only clients (not available to agentOS or AP clients).
This is similar to the current account switching service banks provider, we call it Client Account Switch Service.
Companies (multiple)
An agent that has two different companies they want to go onto agentOS, but not want to have separate subscription and keep one login.
We can set this up
- Under the branch there are company overrides for company registrations, VAT and default to a separate client account.
- With sale draw down, you can draw down by branch. But would not be able to use bacs payments to pay them (as defaults to company trading account), so need to do online payments.
- The reconcile report will be add up both client accounts, but we can provide a macro to split out the reconcile report.
- With billing we can bill the branch costs (subs, users, extras) to different businesses. E.g Branch A bill ABC Limited, Branch B bill Peter Agency.
R
Reconciling (extra features)
With a Calmony account linked to agentOS, you get extra features
From the reconcile screen and action button
Return fund to sender. If money is ever paid into the Client account which is either unknow or a holding fee that needs to be returned, you can use the return funds to sender feature.
Saving time from creating a person on the system to link the payment so you can return the funds.

Save Person Bank Details. You can import the bank details (or update existing)
