When Griffin/We can't match an address, or can't get a full match to someone's address, they will ask for a Proof of Address (Herein stylised as 'PoA') document to confirm things.
Griffin are very strict on what can/can't be accepted.
Basics:
The document must be dated within the last 3 months. Older documents will not be accepted.
The document must either be an original, unedited, unchanged PDF/image file.
Or, a physical picture of a document, including all four corners, with all information visible, and nothing hidden.
Griffin have now provided the following, to confirm what is/isn't acceptable as a PoA document;

*Note on Drivers Licence - if, when someone completes their Griffin Verify check, they use their passport as their ID, then they can use their Driver's Licence as PoA. If they used their Driver's Licence as their ID, Griffin will not accept it as PoA. They are unwilling/unable to change the ID to the passport, to then use the DL as PoA.
If you are unsure if a provided document meets the above criteria, you can send it to Griffin, and they will reply whether it has been accepted or not.
