Your company uses Calmony for their client account, whose accounts are provided by Griffin Bank Ltd. All UK banks offering Client Accounts require verification of all payees under new banking regulations. This verification is required under new UK government Financial Sanctions regulations
By completing this verification now, you're ahead of these upcoming requirements.
The Verification Process:
- You'll receive an email with a link to the missing details form, that will also briefly explain why you need to do this.
- Complete all required information accurately:
- Personal details exactly as they appear on your ID
- Your residential address (where you live, not business addresses, and not the property you rent out)
- Employment status and occupation
- For property owners: average monthly rental income and number of properties the agent manages for you (not the total amount you own, just what the agent manages for you)
- Upload a recent proof of address document (utility bill, council tax letter, or bank statement dated within 3 months)
- Tax reference numbers (if available)
Once Submitted:
- Your information goes to Griffin Bank for review, and they will send you a Griffin Verify check.
- Please ensure the person whose details were submitted on the form, is the one who has to complete the Verify Check
- Please use a form of valid ID (Not expired)
- The process typically takes 2-4 working days
- You may be asked for additional documentation
- The company paying you will inform you once verification is complete - Once verified, you will not need to do this again.
Important Tips:
- Use your legal name exactly as it appears on your ID
- Provide your residential address where you actually live
- Ensure proof of address documents are dated within the last 3 months and clearly show your name and address
- Ensure no information is obscured/hidden/altered on the document
- Proof Of Adress documentation must be a photograph of an original document showing all 4 corners, or the original PDF document
- Respond promptly to any requests for additional information
