Fixflo – Advance Integration
This guide covers the Advanced integration with Fixflo. For information about the standard integration, please see our Standard Integration Guide.
Note: Fixflo provides their own comprehensive setup documentation which can be found on their website.
Getting Started
To begin using the Advanced integration, you'll need:
- An API key
- Your ShortName
You can generate these credentials using our API Key App. When creating the API key, ensure:
- The integration type is set to "Fixflo Key"
- You've selected the correct branch for linking
The advance integration allows you to:
- Add invoices
- Add Documents
- Comprehensive data synchronization between AgentOS and Fixflo, including:
Landlords,
Contractors,
Tenants,
Properties,
Jobs
Each record in the system is identified by a unique Global Reference Number, which allows you to cross check between Fixflo and AgentOS. For example, a landlord would include LAN-12, as shown in this screenshot.
Properties
For properties to sync with Fixflo, you must enable maintenance management on the tenants service type in AgentOS. To do this:
- Navigate to Object Types via your profile icon
- Select "Service Types"
- Choose the relevant service type
- Click "Edit"
- Set "Manage Maintenance" to "Yes"
- Save your changes
See more about service types here.
Job Requests
Unlike the standard integration where maintenance requests appear in your Inbox, the Advanced integration sends job requests directly to "Maintenance Jobs". This means your team can see outstanding jobs easier.
Invoices
The Advanced integration allows invoice creation directly through Fixflo. These invoices automatically appear under "Submitted Invoices" within the corresponding job.
Documents
Upload and manage documents through Fixflo, which then appear under "Saved Documents" in the associated job.
Synchronization
Data synchronization occurs nightly. This includes:
- All integrated data points between systems
- Archive updates
Status Mapping
Please note that status terminology differs between systems:
AgentOS uses:
- Reported
- Actioned
- Closed
