Property blocks functionality has been added to improve how the system manages HMO properties. Property blocks will allow you to link a number of rooms or properties together under the one 'block' which allows you to report on maintenance for communal areas or report on the property as a whole.
Go to 'Lettings' on your dashboard:
Click on 'Property Blocks':
Click on 'Add':
Add the details of the overall block in the same way you would add a standard property to the system. Once you've added the basic details you can go into the record to add things like certificates and maintenance jobs to the block itself, rather than an individual property.
To add an existing property to the block - Go to the property you wish to add, click Edit and type the name of your block into the Property Block field in there.
This will connect the property to the property block so that when you go back to the block, it will show the linked property like so:
