Create a New Property

 You will need to add properties in order to create an instruction on them which can then be converted to tenancies. This information will also include images and room descriptions for the adverts on portals such as Rightmove and on your website. You will be adding specific facility types here which will appear as bullet-pointed items on your adverts. Appointments linked to your property will also appear to the left hand side of your property page once created. Let's begin looking at the process.

To add a property, go to 'Lettings' on the dashboard.

Click on 'Properties'.

Click on 'Add

When you click on it, this will then open a new window to enter the property details.

Please proceed to apply the address, ensuring the fields are used correctly otherwise you risk sharing the full address on your portals upon advertising. To enter your Summary and Description for portals you need to go to the Marketing Tab.

In this section you can also add a video URL and decide whether or not you wish to send the system default brochure to portals such as Rightmove, Zoopla etc. You can always come back to this section if you do not have time to fill everything out immediately. To access this area after you save and close your entries, simply click "Edit" in the top right hand side of the property page.

You will see that there are multiple tabs across the top of the pop up window, each one allowing you to apply important information. For lettings properties, it is not a compulsory requirement to fill out the Composition tab or Purchase Info unless you particularly need to document this data.

 You can however, show the Utilities available on the property and apply any notes you feel would be useful such as how to access the property using alarm codes for example, in the Confidential Notes area

Once you have input all the information, click on 'Save & Close'. This will open the property card.

You can see that down the left hand side of the screen you will have property related sections such as Photos, Certificates and Owners.

Clicking onto these items allows you to view, edit or obtain data for your daily processes. For example, if you click into Photos and then click on 'Select files" you can drag and drop the images into that box. After doing so, you may always come back to this point to edit or download the images if required.
