You can change the email template that goes out to your clients along with their invoice/statement.
To do this please start by going to the settings cog icon in the top right hand side of the page and selecting the option for "Object Types" > now select the option labelled "Email Letter Templates" under the blue "Other" section.
1) If you see an item listed FinanceInvoiceLetter then please click onto it and then click "edit" in the top right hand side.
2) If you do not see this already listed, please click this option as shown below, to add it.
When you click to add, please note you can select the person category you wish to edit the template for, so you may want to change it using the drop down so that you have "Landlord" Selected instead of tenant.
Then you can use the second drop down to select the letter type you wish to create a template for.
You can also use tags to pull in bits of data from the system such as "staff name" "landlord full name" "landlord surname" - to do this please find the attached tag lists lower down on this guide.
You can now fill in the template with as much or as little detail as you like - you can change this as often or as little as you like as well, which makes it very handy to send out promotional material to your landlords based on seasonal changes, advice or events you would like to make them aware of.
You can also add your branding in the form of banners or images using the highlighted section below.
In this box, you are provided options to add an image URL. This image file is obtained by making the following steps (If ever you forget to do this before you start the template then you can just minimize the part way created template screen so that you do not lose the work, or save it as it is then come back to add the images)
Go to the little person icon > settings > click the icon labelled "email signature images" > you will see the below page
Click upload signature image to upload any image files you want to include into the email template - once added, it will create a URL link as shown in centre page which you must then copy in order to paste into the image box on the template we showed earlier in the guide.
You can then stretch and reposition the image as you see fit.
