Q: What is agentOS Branded Emails and what are the benefits?
A: agentOS Branded Emails allows you to use your professional domain name (e.g., '@yourbusiness.co.uk') for all emails sent and received through agentOS. This creates a more professional appearance with clients whilst automatically logging all correspondence within the system against individual contacts. You can choose between two service options depending on your business needs.
Q: What's the difference between Send & Receive and Send Only branded email options?
A: The Send & Receive option routes all emails using your domain through agentOS. Incoming emails appear in your agentOS inbox, and the full conversation history is logged against individual contacts. This requires two technical changes to your domain: an MX Record update (which routes emails to agentOS) and a TXT Record addition (which verifies sending capability).
The Send Only option allows you to send emails from your branded address, but replies go to your current email system rather than agentOS. This only requires one change—a TXT Record addition—and is ideal if you want to maintain your existing email setup whilst sending from a professional domain.
Q: Does agentOS host my domain when I use Branded Emails?
A: No, agentOS does not host your domain. Your current domain host (such as Fasthosts or GoDaddy) remains unchanged, and your IT team maintains full control of domain management. However, the technical changes (MX and/or TXT records) must stay in place for continued email functionality through agentOS.
Q: Can I connect my agentOS branded emails to Microsoft Outlook?
A: Yes, you can connect your agentOS emails to Outlook using POP3. You'll need the following settings:
- Incoming server (POP3): letmc.com (Port 995)
- Outgoing server (SMTP): letmc.com (Port 25)
- SSL/TLS encryption required
- Your agentOS username and password
