Improvements

• Tenancy Rent Schedules
  
  • We have reworked the Rent Schedules on a tenancy due to issues/errors with the previous method.
  • You can no longer edit individual Rent Periods after clicking Setup Rent Schedule.
  • To amend a Rent Period, you must delete the old Rent Period and add a new Rent Period for the relevant dates.
  • Leave either of the From or To fields blank to set the dates to Start/End of Tenancy.
  • To amend the Rent Breakdown, an action has been added to each Rent Period which opens up a pop up that allows you to edit the rent amount for a tenant.

• Tenancy Address on Rent Chase
  • We have replaced the tenancy link in the Rent Chase grid with the tenancy address.
• Maintenance Jobs Grid/Export
  • We have improved the Maintenance Jobs grid/export with additional columns.
  • Job Details has been split into its own, individual columns.
  • Created At, Created By and Job Sheet Sent added to the main grid.
• Export to Excel on all Grids
  • We have improved the exports of all grids where there is additional information underneath the item.
  • Wherever you see an arrow next to an item, additional fields are displayed when clicked.
  • These additional fields are now included in the export when you click Export to Excel.
• Edit Payments
  • You can now edit payments at the Make a Bank Deposit and Bank Card Payments stage.
• Make a Journal Transfer Account Picker
  • We have changed the Account Picker on Journal Transfers to a single select picker instead of a multi-select picker.
• Signable Actions
  • We have added two new actions for Signable envelopes
    • Cancel - Cancel the envelope and notify the recipients
    • Expire - Cancel the envelope and don't notify the recipients
  • These actions are only available when the envelope is in the Awaiting Signing or Partially Signed state.
• Post Code Validation
  • Improved validation of UK postcodes across the system.
• Search for Tenancies
  • You can now search for a tenancy using it's instruction ID under Lettings>Tenancies
  • This functionality was added to allow the searching of Abandoned Tenancies as these do not appear under a Property or in the Quick Search.
• Whistl Auto Authorise Auto Skip
  • When Whistl Auto Authorisation is turned on, any letters older than 14 days will be skipped.
  • This is to prevent unwanted letters from being automatically sent.
• Click Into Linked Statement Entries
  • Reconcile Statements will now show you what or whom a statement entry is linked to.
  • If a statement entry is linked to a payment group, clicking into the group will list all payments contained within the payment group.
• Updated HTML Editor
  • The HTML editor used for Sending Emails and Email Signatures has been updated.
  • You can now insert images (Via a link).
• Tab Performance Improvements
  • Tabs will now close in a more timely manner.
  • Saving changes to an item has been sped up.

Bugs/Defects

• Add Tenants to a Direct Debit Tenancy
  • Fixed a defect where an error was thrown when trying to add a tenant to a tenancy where rent is set to be collected by Direct Debit.
  • The defect was caused by the tenant not having bank details at the point of creation.
  • Bank Details validation has been moved to the Sign Tenancy action.
• Zero Percent Ownership
  • Fixed a defect where the Zero Financial Share option would not set the landlord's ownership percentage to zero when Allow Non-Equal Shareholdings was turned off.
• Check Out Keys to Staff
  • Added the ability to check keys out to a Staff Member.
  • This was missing functionality from LetMC Classic.
• Closing Inspection Letter Recipients
  • Fixed a defect where the closing inspection letter was sent to one tenant only instead of all tenants on a tenancy.
  • This was missing functionality from LetMC Classic.
• Rent Demand Address
  • Fixed a defect where the Rent Demand Address on a tenant would blow up, rendering the contact un-editable.
• Delete Bankers Draft Deposit
  • Fixed a defect where Bankers Draft Deposits weren't deletable under Make a Bank Deposit.
• Delete Owner on Same Day
  • Fixed a defect where you were unable to delete an owner of a property on the same day that they were added
  • This was missing functionality from LetMC Classic.
• Forecast Management Fees Report
  • Fixed a defect where the Forecast Management Fees report would forecast fees from the date that the report was run.
  • The report should run month-to-month.
• Bulk Rent Chase With No Email Address
  • Fixed a defect where bulk chase wouldn't send emails if at least one tenant didn't have an email address.
  • The error would state that x number of tenants were chased and x number of tenants weren't chased.
  • If a tenant without an email address is included in the bulk chase, emails will be sent out to the tenants with email addresses.
• Tenancy Deposit Notes
  
  • Fixed a defect where you were unable to add a deposit note to a tenancy.
  • The system would require you to select a tenant.
  • This was missing functionality from LetMC Classic.
• Rent Chase Detailed Export
  • Removed the action for Detailed Export on rent chase as there is no report attached to it.
• Friendly Error on Certificate Document Upload
  • An HTML error was displayed on an out of date certificate when you uploaded a document.
  • The error now states that the certificate must have a valid Due At date.
• Custom Access Levels for Reports
  • Fixed a defect where a custom access level for Reports wasn't saved.
