You can set up a Window Display to be produced on AgentOS. Similar to many documents, Window Display Templates are uploaded and managed in Office > System Letter Templates. Window Displays are listed here under Property Window Display.
Getting Started
To get started on creating a new Window Display Template, you'll first need to ensure you have access to either Microsoft Word or an alternative word-processing software that can produce documents in a .docx format.
You'll need to create a new blank document or open any existing draft/template Window Card that you have already. For the purposes of this guide we will assume you are starting from scratch with an idea for how you would like your template to look.
The first thing you should do, is bring in your branding to the document and lay out any branding such as your logo, your footer and any other fixed elements of the Window Display that you would like to remain consistent across all Window Displays you print.
An important thing to note with this step, for best practice we recommend using Lock anchor on all elements in your Window Display. To do this in Microsoft Word, simply right click any image, text box or shape that you've added and look for either More Layout Options or Size and Position.
Without locking anchor on all fixed elements, there is a risk that they will shift position when information from AgentOS is populated in the document. As an additional step to avoid this, we also recommend un-ticking Move object with text in this menu.
Adding System Tags and Property Images
Once you have all of your fixed elements in place, you'll be ready to add in tags. Tags are short codes used to generate information from AgentOS to your documents.
In order to set up a tag, you'll need to place a text box on your page. Ensure that the text box has enough room for it to print the information you are calling for from the system and type in the tag you desire, you can take a tag from the below list:
At this stage you will also want to add your photos to your Window Display. This can be a little bit trickier to set up but is done in much the same way as your tags. The main difference for photos, is that they must be set up in a 4:3 format in order to work correctly.
To begin adding your photos, add a new text box and set this up on the page where you would like your photo to appear. From here, first find the height on the page that you would like the photo to have. Next, take the measurements of the text box from the top right of the Shape Format tab.
In this case, I am happy with the height and so I'll take this measurement and divide it by three, and times the result by 4 to get the length for my 4:3 ratio.
Once sized up correctly you'll just need to input the following tag:
[[Photo.PropertyOID]:GetPropertyImage(X)]
When copying the above tag, be sure to change the 'X' to a number. The number you choose impacts which image is selected, starting from 0 for the first picture listed on AgentOS.
Once again, be sure that all tags, text boxes and photos have their anchor locked for best performance while printing.
Once complete, you'll need to upload and test your template in System Letter Templates.
