Thank you for downloading one of our customisable brochure templates. These templates are intended to be used in a plug & play fashion and do not need to be modified in any way. But, you can change the font styles and colours used if you wish.
These brochures have been made using Microsoft Word and are saved in the DocX format. If you make any changes to these templates, you must save them as DocX. Making changes to the documents is simple for anyone with any experience of using a word processor (Such as Microsoft Word).
Warning
To ensure that the content remains in place and the brochure is produced as expected, the text boxes have been anchored. When making changes, ensure that you do not un-anchor the text boxes. For fully custom brochures, please contact our Documentation Team.
Customisation
To customise the template, you must edit the document in Microsoft Word. Other software is available but Word is advisable due to the templates having been created using it.
Each document will contain tags, which are used by the system to display certain information.
Do not change the wording of these tags in any way, otherwise, the information will not be displayed.
Some of the tags will pull through text, Instruction.Rooms.Address1 will pull through Address Line 1 of the property. These tags can be customised by changing the font colour and style.
You may also add your logo to the brochure (All templates will include an agentOS logo as a placeholder). Simply remove the placeholder logo and insert your own image.
Add To agentOS
Once you have made changes to the document, you need to upload it to agentOS. The process for Sales and Lettings brochures differs slightly, but are similar enough that it shouldn't cause any confusion.
Lettings
Once your lettings brochure is ready, you need to navigate to Office > System Letter Templates and find the letter type of Property Brochure.
The letter will have an Actions menu where you can Upload Template File. Using this action, upload your brochure template DocX. To use your new brochure is used, you must ensure that the Editable Docx field is equal to Yes. If it is No, click into the Property Brochure and edit the record and tick Editable Docx.
If you have multiple branches, you must upload a Property Brochure template for each branch. This is done by using the Add Service/Tenancy Type Template action and specifying the branch and selecting Property Brochure as the Letter Type.
The brochure can be generated via the Print Brochure action on any Advertised or Let Agreed (If you advertise let agreed properties) instruction.
Sales
Once your sales brochure is ready, you need to navigate to Office > Custom Document Templates. The next step is where sales brochures differ from lettings brochures. Unlike lettings, you can have any number of sales brochures, with no restrictions on branch usage.
To add a sales brochure, click Add and an add popup will appear. Provide an appropriate name for your brochure and choose an Output Type. The recommended Output Type is Printing Only - PDF. Before creating the new custom document, ensure that Generate For is set to Sales Instructions. This controls where the document is available for use.
Once the new template has been created, you need to upload your brochure template Docx (As you would with a lettings brochure).
You will find your new sales brochure(s) available for download under Saved Documents on any Sales Instruction.
